About

Amadeus Lex Inc. is a non-profit chamber music series, founded in 2021 by Dr. Jonathan Crosmer.  Our Co-Artistic Directors are Dr. Crosmer and Dr. Madeline Rogers.  Dr. Rogers is Assistant Professor of Piano at Berea College.  Dr. Crosmer is a violist—and worse, a lawyer*.  Our excellent professional musicians are part of your central Kentucky community. 

On vacation in Vienna in December 2019, Jonathan and his wife, Kathleen, visited the house where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote The Marriage of Figaro.  While Mozart is known as a genius composer, he was also an entrepreneur who booked halls and musicians to produce concerts.  His well-known silly side and ability to have fun while making great music make him a great mascot for our series.
